Well here he is!! He has just started smiling and laughing! This is the most exciting thing because up to this point they eat, poop, and cry and you just take care of them with nothing in return and then just when you think that you are going to collapse in exhaustion from late night feedings and changing another pooper---they smile when they see you, making all of the messes, spit up, late nights, and blank stares worth every bit of it! A little gift from Heavenly father.

What a sweet smile! You guys are heading into my favorite baby stage. Three through eleven months is such a fun, easy time (for my two so far anyway). By the way, I think Macy is still quite beautiful. Not awkward at all!
It is so nice when they start to acknowledge your existence. That smile is priceless!
